Here’s a look at the ongoing works at the New Life Covenant Church project in Eastlea, where our team continues to make great progress on site.

A lot of hard work, commitment and teamwork goes into every stage of construction, and we are proud to be part of building a space that will serve and bring people together for years to come.

Phase 1 has taken shape beautifully, with businesses now open and actively serving the community. Shoppers and visitors can already experience the convenience and vibrancy brought by Redan, SPAR, MedOrange Pharmacies, Pizza Inn & Baker's Inn under Simbisa Brands and Profeeds - each adding to a growing retail ecosystem in Mazowe.

At Gateway Construction, it’s rewarding to see this vision transitioning into a functional, thriving space. From the layout and design to the finished infrastructure, Phase 1 reflects the kind of quality and impact we aim to deliver in every project.

As we mark the final day of Women’s Month, we celebrate the powerful voices shaping our industry.

Today, we spotlight Hellen Juliet Kambaranda , our SHEQ Officer, whose journey reflects the true meaning of this year’s theme, “Give to Gain.” In a male-dominated environment, Hellen chose courage over comfort - giving her time, her voice and her determination even in moments of doubt.

Through consistency and resilience, she has gained confidence, respect and a voice that now influences safety, decisions and culture on site.
Her story is a reminder that growth is not accidental. It is built through showing up, speaking up and stepping beyond what feels comfortable.
