A City of Harare delegation, led by Councillor T. Utete (Chairperson of the Environmental Management Committee), alongside Acting Town Clerk Advocate Warren Chiwawa and other committee members, conducted a tour of the GeoPomona Waste Management Site.

Representing the Environmental Management Committee of the Council, the team assessed developments since the project's inception and gained valuable first-hand insight into its implementation. The productive visit was capped off with a hearty meal at our state-of-the-art restaurant, The Sprout.

We were honored to exhibit at the event, showcasing our commitment to innovative waste management solutions tailored to address Africa’s unique challenges.

The occasion was graced by several distinguished officials, including Dr. Dilesh Nguwaya, CEO and Executive Chairman of Geo Pomona Waste Management, Hon. Dr. Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, Minister of Defence, and Prof. Amon Murwira, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Ambassador Muzawazi who gracefully hosted African leaders among other officials.

Together, we celebrate African unity, heritage and sustainable progress.

The garbage guys, hungry, relentless and fully fired up are ready to devour their opponents from the first whistle. They are set to dominate possession, press high and leave everything on the pitch.
