FAQ...My house has old peeling paint. How do I repaint it without the new paint flaking off?
Answer...The old paint needs to be removed with a wire brush first before a any new paint can be applied. The wall should then be rinsed with water ensuring no loose particles are left on the wall. The wall can then be painted after drying. With any surface, old flaking paint needs to be removed before fresh paint can be applied. The surface will then need to be cleaned of the debris and dust before being degreased (where an enamel paint is to be applied) and rinsed. The fresh paint can only be applied after the rinsing water has evaporated off.
