As we look back at highlights from our 2025 STEM Kumusha Emakhaya Big Outreach, we're reminded that every learner reached and every community impacted was made possible through the power of partnership.

Now, we're preparing to close off our Second Term Outreach Programme with this year's Big Outreach—and we're inviting partners who share our vision to be part of the journey.

In 2023, we travelled to Mbire District, Mashonaland Central, for a STEMKUMUSHAEMAKHAYA outreach. As we engaged with learners and teachers in one of Zimbabwe's most remote and marginalized districts, one thing became clear: the passion to learn science was there—but the laboratories were not.

We left with a promise to return.

This week, we did.

Through the Lab to Lead Project, funded by the Australian Embassy, we delivered 5 mobile science laboratories to schools in Mbire, turning a need we witnessed three years ago into meaningful action.

For many learners, these labs represent more than scientific equipment. They represent access, possibility, and the belief that no matter how remote a community is, every child deserves the opportunity to learn, experiment, innovate, and dream.

This is what keeping a promise looks like.

The future doesn't wait—it is built by those bold enough to dream, create, and innovate. This 07 June 2026, Elevate Trust is bringing the STEM Kumusha Emakhaya Outreachto Mbire, delivering hands-on STEM experiences, innovation, mentorship, and career inspiration directly to the community.

As part of this outreach, we are proud to donate mobile science laboratories under the LAB TO LEAD Project, made possible through the generous support of the Australian Grant.

This initiative is about more than delivering equipment—it's about expanding access to quality STEM education, creating opportunities for practical learning, and ensuring that young people in every corner of Zimbabwe have the tools to dream, discover, and lead. Because we are where the youths are, we remain committed to taking STEM beyond classrooms and into communities where it can make the greatest impact. We were deeply honoured to welcome Hon. Torerayi Moyo, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, together with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, to Gokwe for the official handover of 5 Ministry-approved Mobile Science Laboratories .

The Minister's inspiring address reaffirmed a shared commitment to advancing STEM education and ensuring that every learner—regardless of where they come from—has access to quality, practical science education. His message highlighted the importance of investing in young minds today to build the innovators, scientists, engineers, and leaders of tomorrow.

This milestone is more than the donation of mobile laboratories; it is a step towards transforming education and creating equal opportunities for learners in every corner of Zimbabwe.

As we continue Taking Science Kumusha Emakhaya, we remain committed to taking science beyond the classroom and into communities where it has the power to inspire, empower, and change lives.

In Gokwe, the community came together as we proudly rolled out 5 Ministry-approved Mobile Science Laboratories—bringing quality STEM education closer to the learners who need it most.

This was more than the delivery of laboratories. It was a commitment to creating opportunities, igniting curiosity, and ensuring that every child, regardless of where they live, has the chance to dream, discover, and innovate through science.

Every kilometre we travel is a step towards closing the gap in science education. Every community we reach is a reminder that brilliance exists everywhere—it simply needs the right tools to flourish.
