Hydrogen embrittlement is not a theoretical risk. It is a material reality that determines whether a cylinder remains structurally sound after years of pressurisation cycles in hydrogen service.

EKC's seamless cylinders for hydrogen applications are engineered and tested specifically to resist embrittlement and sulfide stress cracking, manufactured to ISO 9809-1, PED, TPED, IS 7285, and DOT 3AA, with working pressures from 200 bar to 500 bar.

This is not a standard cylinder fitted to a hydrogen application. It is a cylinder built for one.
