500 consecutive workdays without a Lost Time Injury!

RJE’s Summerfield BESS Project has reached an important safety milestone, reflecting the commitment of everyone who has worked on the project since delivery began.

At its peak, Summerfield had more than 100 people working across multiple work fronts, undertaking complex and high-risk construction activities. Reaching 500 consecutive workdays LTI-free in that environment is an achievement shared by our employees, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and everyone who has contributed along the way.

It reflects a strong safety culture across the project, where looking out for one another, speaking up and maintaining high standards have remained part of how the team works every day.

Thank you to everyone who has played a part in reaching this milestone, including those whose work on the project has since been completed.

A significant achievement for the Summerfield team and one we’re proud to recognise.

Outstanding effort by our own Cooper Bristow, who recently competed in the 2026 Molokaʻi 2 Oʻahu Paddleboard World Championships in Hawaii.

After months of training and preparation, Cooper achieved an impressive 3rd place in the Solo Paddleboard Male 20–29 category, finishing 15th overall with a time of 5 hours and 29 minutes.

Balancing work with the commitment required to compete at this level is no small feat, making the result all the more impressive.

We're proud to have supported Cooper on his journey and congratulate him on an outstanding performance.

More than 150 students from across the Yorke Peninsula came together last month for the Rex Minerals Ltd School Immersion Day, with the RJE team joining industry representatives to share insights into careers across the resources and infrastructure sectors.

The day provided an opportunity to showcase the diversity of careers that exist across our industry. Every project brings together people with different skills and backgrounds, whether they're working in engineering, project coordination, health and safety, environmental management, technical services or operations.

We hope these conversations gave students a broader understanding of the opportunities available as they begin thinking about what their future might look like.

Thank you to Rex Minerals Ltd for hosting such a valuable event and to everyone involved in making it happen. We were pleased to be involved and hope to see many of these students continue exploring careers within our industry.

We started 2026 with a bang for our photo comp, introducing our January & February winners.

Congratulations to Adrian Best for his winning entry for January showing our 2nd GRC Switchroom arriving at our Summerfield BESS Project Site in South Australia.

Our winning entry for February 2026 was Tom Newbold. Congratulations for this great shot captured at our Mortlake BESS Site. Pictured is Scott Black “Blacky” passing on his knowledge and experience by training our younger crew members in HV switchgear operations — a great example of teamwork, mentorship and developing the next generation in the industry.
