RJE Photography Competition 2026 Winners – January & February

We started 2026 with a bang for our photo comp, introducing our January & February winners.

Congratulations to Adrian Best for his winning entry for January showing our 2nd GRC Switchroom arriving at our Summerfield BESS Project Site in South Australia.

Our winning entry for February 2026 was Tom Newbold. Congratulations for this great shot captured at our Mortlake BESS Site. Pictured is Scott Black “Blacky” passing on his knowledge and experience by training our younger crew members in HV switchgear operations — a great example of teamwork, mentorship and developing the next generation in the industry.

Congratulations to Dale Altschwager on an outstanding 28 years of service with RJE Global.

Throughout his time with the company, Dale has played a pivotal role in RJE's success, leading major construction teams with professionalism, a calm demeanour, and steady leadership. Often entrusted with challenging situations, Dale consistently takes the time to ensure outcomes are fair, reasonable, and in the best interests of all involved.

A true stalwart of the business, Dale has earned the respect and appreciation of colleagues across the organisation. This milestone is a fitting opportunity to recognise his significant contribution and thank him for his unwavering commitment to RJE Global over the past 28 years.

As ANZAC Day approaches, we pause to acknowledge the courage, service and sacrifice of the men and women of our armed forces — past and present.

ANZAC Day is more than a public holiday. It is a day of reflection, gratitude and respect. It reminds us of the bravery of those who served, the mateship they showed, and the sacrifices made by so many families in the service of our country.

For many of our people, particularly those working FIFO or away from home, the meaning of sacrifice is understood in a very real way. Time away from family, friends and the comforts of home is never easy, and we acknowledge the commitment that so many of you make to support our projects, our customers and each other.

Whether you are attending a dawn service, spending time with family, working away, having a BBQ or sharing a few beers at the RSL, we wish you all the very best for ANZAC Day. We also ask that you take a quiet moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by those before us, so that we can enjoy the freedoms this Great Southern Land provides.

Yesterday, Thursday 19th March, we took advantage of the warm Autumn weather and had a staff quarterly BBQ in our head office at Morphettville. It was a great opportunity to get together and welcome all our new starters, hear about staff milestones, and about some of the exciting upcoming projects coming our way. A huge thank you to our General Manager Mitch Pace and our CEO Robin Johnson on manning the BBQ and keeping us all fed.

Congratulations to Dean Brock for his winning entry in the Photography Competition for November 2025.

A Red alert protocol was activated at our New England BESS project in NSW. This prompted all workers to down tools but allowed for this stunning picture to be snapped.

Finishing off a strong 2025 was Alex Campion for his winning entry for December 2025. Congratulations Alex. This picture was taken at one of our remote mine site projects while commissioning one of RJE’s Generator Step Up Transformer kiosks.
