Strengthening Partnerships. Supporting Performance.
As part of the ongoing GTE Technology and alliance, our team recently visited South Pacific Seeds AU in South Australia for a valuable client site visit.

GTE Technology’s Kyle Stratton, Service & Continuous Improvement Lead and technician Russell joined PETKUS technician Patrick Herold on site to discuss the operation and maintenance of key seed processing equipment, including the PETKUS Gravity Separator and Indent Cylinders.

At GTE Technology, we believe our role goes beyond supplying equipment. Through strong partnerships, technical expertise and ongoing customer support, we’re committed to helping our clients get the most out of their processing systems.

A big thank you to Arno Gronum and Patrick Herold for taking the time out of their busy schedules. The visit provided a great opportunity to share technical knowledge, discuss equipment performance, and ensure the plant continues to operate effectively.

Innovation in Action at the SGNZ 2026 Summit

Last month, GTE Technology attended the Seed and Grain New Zealand 2026 Summit at the remarkable, newly built One New Zealand Stadium in picturesque Ōtautahi Christchurch. Over two days, seed and grain professionals shared ideas, explored innovation, and grew valuable connections.

The summit was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry peers and discuss the latest innovations from our partners Petkus Group, Volkmann and Verbruggen Emmeloord BV

At the GTE Technology booth, Nick Smith and Edin Telarevic showcased the latest 3U Vision SRL Fenix Mini optical sorter, giving delegates the opportunity to bring along their own seed for live testing.

The demonstrations highlighted how the compact Fenix Mini delivers advanced, cost-effective optical sorting technology, making high-performance sorting more accessible to seed businesses.

A huge thank you to the SGNZ team for hosting such an insightful and vibrant summit, and to everyone who visited the GTE Technology booth, shared their challenges and took the time to learn more about our technology.

Optical Sorting Training Seminar at the GTE Technology Innovation Centre.

One exciting aspect of the GTE Technology Innovation Centre is our in-house, hands-on, classroom-based training. Last week, we provided a valued client, Costa Bros. Phillip Costa, with 3U Vision SRL optical sorting training, delivered by Edin Telarevic.

Over 3 days, our client built their knowledge, hands-on skills and, most importantly, confidence to get the most from their 3U Vision optical sorter. The training provided the team with the practical skills and knowledge to operate, adjust and optimise the equipment effectively, giving them greater independence and confidence in managing their sorting process. This was made possible by the GTE Innovation Centre and 3U Vision equipment.

As part of the visit, our client also undertook a full engineering and manufacturing site tour, providing insight into GTE Technology’s capabilities and the processes behind the equipment we design and manufacture locally in Ballarat.

At GTE Technology, we believe that delivering great equipment is only part of the journey. Knowledge, training, and ongoing support are key to helping our clients get the most from their technology.

That’s a wrap on Seed Business 2026 - and what an incredible few days for GTE Technology.

Australian Seed Federation Seed Business 2026 was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our latest seed-enhancement and sorting technologies, connect with industry peers, strengthen existing partnerships, and share ideas with leaders across the Australian seed sector.

We showcased some of our latest equipment, including the 3U Vision SRL Fenix Mini and the GTE Pendulum Bucket Elevator, highlighting the technology and innovation helping to shape the future of seed processing.

The Seed Business Gala Dinner was a celebration of the people and businesses that make Australia’s seed industry so strong. A particular highlight for GTE Technology was being named the winner of the Great Exhibitor Pitch Competition. A wonderful recognition of our team, our technology, and our commitment to supporting the seed industry.

The event wrapped up with a GTE Technology-led field trip to our Ballarat HQ, giving delegates an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of our Innovation Centre & Training Academy and advanced manufacturing facility.

Delegates experienced state-of-the-art optical sorting equipment in operation, along with a complete GTE seed-coating line. They also explored the latest Petkus Group product range, including the SL5 Selecta, S18 Airmax Cleaner, G40 midex Gravity Separators, and OS f Optical Sorter.

Seed Business 2026 was a great opportunity to showcase innovation, passion, and teamwork, and we’re proud to have been part of it.
