That’s a wrap on Seed Business 2026 - and what an incredible few days for GTE Technology.

Australian Seed Federation Seed Business 2026 was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our latest seed-enhancement and sorting technologies, connect with industry peers, strengthen existing partnerships, and share ideas with leaders across the Australian seed sector.

We showcased some of our latest equipment, including the 3U Vision SRL Fenix Mini and the GTE Pendulum Bucket Elevator, highlighting the technology and innovation helping to shape the future of seed processing.

The Seed Business Gala Dinner was a celebration of the people and businesses that make Australia’s seed industry so strong. A particular highlight for GTE Technology was being named the winner of the Great Exhibitor Pitch Competition. A wonderful recognition of our team, our technology, and our commitment to supporting the seed industry.

The event wrapped up with a GTE Technology-led field trip to our Ballarat HQ, giving delegates an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of our Innovation Centre & Training Academy and advanced manufacturing facility.

Delegates experienced state-of-the-art optical sorting equipment in operation, along with a complete GTE seed-coating line. They also explored the latest Petkus Group product range, including the SL5 Selecta, S18 Airmax Cleaner, G40 midex Gravity Separators, and OS f Optical Sorter.

Seed Business 2026 was a great opportunity to showcase innovation, passion, and teamwork, and we’re proud to have been part of it.

A huge thank you to the ASF team, our industry peers, partners, and everyone who visited the GTE Technology stand and joined us in Ballarat. We’re already looking forward to Seed Business 2027.

Recently, our Optical Technical Sales & Service Lead, Edin Telarevic, visited the 3U Vision SRL headquarters in Italy to further enhance product knowledge, collaborate with the technical team, and discuss several exciting developments that will soon deliver significant value across multiple industries.

The partnership between GTE Technology and 3U Vision continues to strengthen, combining both companies' local expertise, service, and support across the Oceania region. Inspiring Future Welders & Engineers in Ballarat

Last week, GTE Technology was pleased to welcome students participating in the ‘Explore Working in Welding’ program, delivered by Highlands LLEN in partnership with BGT Jobs & Training Ballarat.

Operations Director Charlie Smith and Manufacturing Manager Duncan Hill led local school students on a tour of our Manufacturing Facility and Innovation Centre, providing them with firsthand insight into the world of engineering and advanced seed and grain manufacturing.

From hearing directly from industry professionals to seeing our state-of-the-art equipment in action, the visit provided valuable exposure to the opportunities available right here in Ballarat.

At GTE Technology, we're passionate about supporting the next generation of skilled tradespeople and helping young people discover rewarding careers in manufacturing and engineering. We're especially pleased that the visit has already delivered a great outcome, with one student choosing to undertake work experience with GTE Technology following the tour.

Strengthening partnerships through continuous support and innovation.

Recently, Kyle Stratton, Service & Continuous Improvement Lead at GTE Technology, visited East-West Seed in Suphan Buri, Thailand. The visit focused on optimising the FB2000 Fluidised Bed Dryer settings to maintain peak performance. Using the latest industrial mixed-reality headset technology, Kyle collaborated in real time with a senior GTE technician, enabling swift on-site adjustments.

Since the FB2000’s successful commissioning in late 2024, GTE Technology has remained committed to providing dedicated remote and on-site support and training for East-West Seed. Designed to boost efficiency, versatility, and sustainability, the FB2000 efficiently dries a range of crops and treatments, including sweet corn, waxy corn, popcorn, field corn, rice, and soybeans.

Together, we are shaping a more sustainable future for seed processing.

GTE Technology is proud to announce the successful delivery of a new system for a key account in Luisetti Seeds New Zealand. This project included full 3D engineering design, supply of all conveyor technology, structural steel, Auxiliary equipment, electrical control panel, and commissioning. Installation completed by our valued New Zealand based engineering partner.
