🔥 Another transformation completed in Catalina!

This project was a great example of how you can completely transform an existing outdoor area and make it more functional, secure and look the part.

We stripped back the old under-deck area and rebuilt the framing, enclosed the space and installed new external cladding, doors and trims. The finished result gives the home a clean, modern look while creating a practical new storage area underneath the deck.

We also completed the finishing work around the existing stairs, deck and balustrades to tie everything together.

Roof Leak & Ceiling Replacement – Surfside 🔨

Another job completed in Surfside after a leaking roof caused water damage to the ceiling.

We repaired the source of the leak, removed the damaged ceiling, replaced the affected plasterboard and completed the stopping, sanding and painting to bring the room back to a fresh, finished condition.

It’s important with water damage to address the source of the problem first, rather than simply repairing the visible damage.

Another Transformation Completed in Broulee! 🔨🏡

What started as two separate single garage doors is now one modern, spacious double garage with a sleek new panel-lift door.

For this project we:
✅ Removed the existing brick pier and garage doors
✅ Installed structural steel to support the roof load
✅ Framed and sheeted the new opening
✅ Completed all plastering and finishing works
✅ Installed a new insulated panel-lift garage door with automatic opener
✅ Left the client with a clean, modern finish that completely transforms the front of the home.

This old shower had reached the end of its life. The original shower base and tiled walls had started leaking, allowing water to escape and putting the surrounding structure at risk.

We completely removed the old shower, repaired the damaged areas, installed new wall linings, completed a full waterproofing system, retiled the walls and floor, and finished it off with a new semi-frameless shower screen and modern fixtures.

The result is a fresh, modern shower that’s built to last.

✨ Hidden Treasure Unearthed! ✨

One of our regular clients asked us to freshen up a bedroom, and what started as a simple makeover turned into one of those projects we love.

After lifting the old carpet, we discovered a beautiful set of original timber floorboards hiding underneath. Instead of covering them back up, we saw the potential and decided to bring them back to life.

Our team carefully repaired the flooring where needed, completed structural work around the window, prepared the surfaces, gave the room a fresh coat of paint, then sanded and polished the timber to reveal its natural character. The transformation speaks for itself!

It’s always exciting uncovering original features like these. You never know what’s hiding beneath old carpet, and in this case, it was absolutely worth the effort. These timber floors have gone from forgotten to becoming the standout feature of the room.

Today, Jordie and I completed the Gripset Accredited Applicator Program (GAPP), a hands-on waterproofing course covering Gripset’s complete range of waterproofing products, systems and correct application techniques.

This accreditation means we’re now recognised as Gripset GAPP Certified Contractors, giving our clients the confidence that their waterproofing is completed using industry-approved methods and premium products.

As a GAPP Certified Contractor, we can now offer:

Friday transformation in Nelligan! 🔨🪟

We wrapped up the week by replacing this old timber window with a brand-new aluminium sliding window for our client in Nelligan.

The old window had definitely seen better days, so we carefully removed it, made the necessary framing adjustments, installed the new window, and finished it off with fresh internal architraves and external trims for a clean, modern look.

It’s always satisfying seeing the difference a quality window replacement can make—not only improving the appearance of the home but also increasing natural light, energy efficiency and security.
