We’ve entered into a joint development agreement with international capital partner Billion Watts, a subsidiary of Billion Electric Co. Ltd (3027.TW), to advance the delivery of a 50 MW / 200 MWh portfolio of sub-5 MW projects across NSW and Victoria.

Together, we'll target the development of ten strategically located sites connected to distribution networks in both states, supporting local grid stability, system strength and resilience in regional communities.

This partnership marks significant progress in our expanding portfolio of high-quality sub-5 MW assets and reinforces our strategy of developing storage infrastructure across multiple layers of the electricity system.

It was great to be out in the community in Taralga, NSW, alongside our partner Octopus Australia.

Over two days, we had the opportunity to listen to locals and answer questions about our Hanworth BESS project.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared their feedback, and took the time to connect with the team.

If you'd like more information on the Hanworth BESS project, please get in touch via the project page on our website.

A significant milestone for Enervest’s Own & Operate strategy

We’re pleased to announce the acquisition of the 300MW Northern Border Battery, a major step in expanding Australia’s grid-scale storage capacity.

Strategically positioned on the NSW–QLD border, this project will play a vital role in strengthening reliability and flexibility in the National Electricity Market as legacy generation exits.

As one of the first assets retained under our own-and-operate model, Northern Border represents an important evolution for Enervest. With early works already underway, we’re moving at pace to deliver the infrastructure needed to support Australia’s energy transition. ⚡🌏

We understand the juggle between work and family can be a challenge, especially over the school holidays.

The Enervest team was more than happy to welcome these little ones into the office as they enjoyed a slurpie and saw mum, our star Development Manager, in action.

Our littlest recruit, Ben, also enjoyed cruising around the office, exploring our plants and playing with the balls from our table tennis table as mum filmed some videos for our new careers page (watch this space!).

Having family in the office was a great reminder of why we do what we do, and who we do it for.

Charlie, our Head of Utility Development, has been out and about at universities sharing what it takes to bring projects to life, from early-stage development through to delivery, and connecting directly with the next generation of energy professionals.

For us, it’s bigger than Enervest. It’s about building capability across the industry, supporting future talent, and strengthening the connection between education and the energy transition happening right now.

Project update from Australia’s largest floating solar array at Wannon Water’s Brierly Basin ☀️

Construction is progressing strongly, with the project now clearly taking shape on the water. The floating platform has been installed, and solar panel installation is well underway.

It’s exciting to see this landmark project coming together, with more updates to come as we move closer to completion.
