LPP Civil & Plant is looking for an experienced and reliable Civil Plant Operator to join our growing team.

We're a family-owned and operated civil construction company delivering quality projects across Southeast Queensland. We take pride in our work, look after our people, and are looking for someone who shares the same attitude.

⚒️ About the Role:
🔹 Operating excavators (1.7T–25T)
🔹 Civil earthworks, drainage, and water Infrastructure
🔹Trenching and service installation
🔹 Working alongside experienced civil crews
🔹 Ongoing work for the right person

➡️What We're Looking For:
✅ Minimum 5 years' experience in civil construction
✅ Strong experience operating excavators and other civil plant
✅ Ability to read plans and work to levels
✅ White Card (essential)
✅ Current driver's licence (HR licence advantageous)
✅ Reliable, safety-focused, and takes pride in quality workmanship
✅ Able to work as part of a team and unsupervised when required

This retaining wall and pool excavation project has thrown up plenty of challenges, including restricted access, steep terrain, rock excavation and material handling.

With limited room to manoeuvre, the right equipment and experienced operators make all the difference. By utilising a combination of excavators, site dumpers, hook trucks and specialised attachments, our team has been able to safely and efficiently complete bulk excavation, footing preparation and retaining wall construction while maintaining productivity throughout the project.

A great effort by the crew and a perfect example of how the right plant, equipment and experience can overcome even the most challenging access conditions.
