A considered approach to materiality, light and connection.

Lacuna explores the traditional concept of the bathhouse — creating spaces that encourage pause, interaction and a connection to the surrounding landscape.

Natural stone, honed concrete and terrazzo finishes are layered throughout the home, creating a tactile palette that seamlessly transitions between indoor and outdoor living.

Carefully framed openings draw in natural light while creating moments of connection between spaces, celebrating the simplicity of form and the beauty of refined materials 🏡

Blue House is a contemporary renovation and extension of a traditional raised Queenslander in Grange, thoughtfully balancing heritage character with modern family living. The original home has been carefully restored and elevated, with a new ground level and contemporary rear addition creating light-filled, open-plan spaces that connect seamlessly to the landscape. Respecting the home's original proportions and timber detailing while introducing a refined palette of modern materials and clean architectural forms, the design establishes a cohesive dialogue between old and new, reimagining the Queenslander for a new generation without compromising its enduring identity.
