First Officer, Monica was doing a walk around with Kynan, who recently joined Link and was sitting in the jump seat today in an observers role on this flight. Kynan was previously flying a Cessna C208 Caravan with Macquarie Air Aviation, Bankstown. Monica has been with Link as an F.O. for approximately 12 months. Great to meet you both.

Great to meet Dan while doing his walk around as I finished doing a refuel. Currently a First Officer, he is in the process of doing his Captains training in the Dash 8 Q400 and consequently occupying the left seat today. What a remarkable achievement for a young man of his age and should be an inspiration to other young pilots out there pursuing their goals.

Alec is just 16 years old but soloed on his 15th birthday, has his RPL, and today is doing a navigation exercise with instructor Shaun Imber, from Peace aviation. If thats not enough, he has also successfully completed 3 of his CPL written exams so far. During our brief chat this morning I was impressed with his maturity and professional attitude along with his focus and commitment to becoming a commercial pilot. Good luck with everything Alec, it was a pleasure to meet you and I look forward to learning of your progression towards your goal.

Great to see Paul again in his immaculate 1967 Piper Cherokee. Paul is the Vice President of Redcliffe Aero Club and occasionally stops into Bundy for a refuel. Always good to have a chat Paul.

Great to see Fenella again today, pictured here with Francis from AAT. Fen works at the RFDS as a human factors non technical instructor and also holds her grade 2 G.A. flight instructor qualification. She is currently doing her conversion training to be an RA Aus instructor with AAT. Fen is also an air operator with QFES and is a familiar face around the airport. I look forward to seeing you more often Fen.
