๐ฅ Bronze Level Sponsor Spotlight โ Phillips Civil Contracting
Today, we extend a heartfelt thank you to Michael and Tricia Phillips of Phillips Civil Contracting for their unwavering support of local football and the Port Womenโs team.๐ชโก
Their dedication to community football runs deep. Originally passionate supporters of Kermandie, the Phillips family transitioned into the newly formed Southern Storm as their two sons joined the team. Tricia began her involvement by coaching and umpiring from Auskick through to Under 10s, becoming a hands-on and vital presence in junior footy.๐
Tricia also holds a special place in club history as the first-ever coach of the Port Womenโs team, helping to lay the foundations for what has grown into a strong, competitive side. In 2017, she even laced up the boots herself, taking to the field in memorable games alongside her nieces, Teletha and Caitlyn.
Football is truly a family affair for the Phillips clan. Michael played across all levels for Kermandie โ Colts, Reserves, and Seniors โ and also coached at every junior level, including Colts. Their son carried on the tradition at Kermandie, while daughters Teletha and Caitlyn were among the pioneering players in the Port Womenโs inaugural seasons, making lasting contributions to the teamโs development.
