Is your home protected?

An RCD (Residual Current Device) is a vital safety switch designed to cut power instantly if an electrical fault is detected - helping prevent electric shocks and potentially saving lives.

🏠 Homes built before 2000 may not meet current safety standards, especially if no electrical upgrades have been made since.
🏠 In WA, rental properties must have two working RCDs installed. It's not optional, it's the law.

Not sure if your switchboard is compliant? Our team is here to help. We’ll assess your setup and let you know if any upgrades are needed to keep your home and family safe.

Summer is coming, and it's a great time to get your home ready.

Ceiling fans can work alongside your air conditioning to help distribute cool air more evenly throughout the room. In summer, set your ceiling fan to rotate anti-clockwise to push cool air down, helping you feel cooler without relying solely on your air con.

Thinking about adding ceiling fans to your home? Chat to the Bara Electrical team about installation.

Check out these impressive before and after shots from Kohi's latest deluxe clean!

Dust, dirt and grime can build up inside your system and get circulated through your home every time you switch it on.

Sure, you can clean the filter yourself. But a professional clean goes much further. The internal components can all collect buildup that you simply can’t reach with a quick DIY clean.

A professional clean helps keep your air con running efficiently, improves airflow and removes the buildup you can’t see, while also giving your electrician a chance to spot any potential issues.

Before you switch it on for summer, ask yourself: when was the last time your air con had a proper clean?

From high bays, work areas to loading zones and walkways, lighting needs to suit the space, the work being carried out and the environment.
