☀️🔋 Another solar + battery upgrade completed in Tyalgum.
This home already had solar panels, but after around 10 years, the homeowners were looking for ways to further increase their energy independence as power costs continue to rise.
With a pool, air conditioning and electric appliances, adding a BYD battery and additional solar panels was a great way to generate and store more of their own energy to use throughout the day and into the evening.
The customer was pretty happy with the result:

It was an early start for our team today at Lismore Base Hospital! 💪☀️

A total of 180 SunPower solar panels were craned onto the roof as part of this 99.9kW commercial solar installation.

This project is one of several NSW Health projects we’ve been working on this year, and it’s exciting to see another stage of the installation come together.

Another one completed in Bilambil Heights ☀️

Patrick wanted to reduce his power bills (previously around $600 per quarter) while gaining some extra peace of mind with backup power, as the area can occasionally experience blackouts. A small price to pay when you have a view like this! 🌅

The team installed a 9.1kW solar system featuring SunPower Maxeon panels and a Tesla Powerwall 3, allowing Patrick to store his excess solar energy and keep essential appliances running when the grid goes down.
