Our processing crew are peeling thousands of prawns each day which we pack, freeze and send out to restaurants every day.

Not only is it a major time saver in the kitchen, but also our sizing is super consistent so you can rest assured that all of your dishes are getting the correct portion sizes 👌🏼🦐

If that doesn’t get you across the line, just take a moment to think about your poor apprentice who gets delegated the job of peeling all of the prawns every day but has to go home right before service because he’s just copped another prawn rostrum under his thumbnail… for the third time this week… 😮‍💨

Every day at our facility we process countless kilos of prawns and Bay Lobsters for their meat. As you can imagine, we end up with a lot of shells. Shells make things yummy, like stocks and sauces.

If you’re in the market for crustacean shells to make the aforementioned yummy sauces (to go with our other premium seafood), add a box or two of shells to your next order 😏 🦐

We love our Queensland saucer scallops but these Tassie commercial scallops are just so good!
An absolute staple in the seafood industry here in Australia, the commercial scallops are iconically sweet and have a lot of flavour!
Not only do they taste so delicious but they also have such a beautiful shell which can be used as a vessel to carry sauces or other accompaniments when serving. Win win!

We’ve received a fresh unload of Large size scallops straight from Tassie and they’re as delicious as they get.

What an epic year 2025 was!

On behalf of the whole crew here at ABLP, we just wanted to say a massive thank you for your support. For all of our amazing customers, existing and new, as well as everyone following along on our social media, your support means so much to us and every year it genuinely reminds us why we do what we do.

From the early mornings packing orders to late nights receiving fish, live crabs and lobsters, sharing our seafood with your families, restaurants and tables around the country is something we never take for granted. Your trust, feedback and excitement for our brand and products push us to keep raising the bar and doing things the right way.

Here’s to another year of incredible seafood, strong community and plenty of amazing feasts. We can’t wait to show you what’s next. 🦞
