We’re proud to share that Saltair has won the Brisbane Master Builders Community Accommodation Award for our Bellara project, built in partnership with Guardian Living Australia 🏆

While industry recognition is always a proud moment for our team, what makes this award truly special is what it represents. Purpose-built homes designed entirely around the real lives, independence, and daily needs of their residents.

Delivering high-performance Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) requires far more than ticking off technical specifications. It demands a participant-led design approach combined with the precision, control, and timber-craft quality of off-site modular construction.

By constructing the home in our Brisbane factory and delivering it to site, we were able to create an accessible, and highly customised space, without months of site disruption for the local community.

As Richard Martin, Director of Guardian Living Australia, shared: "Winning this award is a wonderful recognition of the quality of the home, but for us, the real measure of success is the difference it makes to the person living there."

Traditional builds often require massive, unpredictable site clearing. Our approach? We use this exact blueprint stage to value-engineer the home, mapping out the modules so they slot seamlessly into the local environment with minimal footprint.

By the time these modules leave our manufacturing facility, every detail has been calculated to perfection.
