💧 ONE FITTING, TWO JOBS — HOW TO SPLIT THEM

Fleximake DW60B, DW110B, DW105BC & DW150B Drinking Water Bladders come standard with:

💧 1 × ½" poly male BSP fitting at the lowest point of the side panel — used as the combined fill & outlet

💨 1 × ½" poly male BSP breather fitting on the top panel — supplied with a hose kit & cap

This works great for most setups. But want a separate fill line and a dedicated outlet for your tap or 12V pump?

Easy — you can customise the external plumbing without modifying the bladder. 👇

🔧 THE DIY SETUP

Using the supplied lower hose kit, add a suitable adaptor, tee and 2 shut-off valves:

💧 Fill line → Valve → Fill hose / quick connector
🚰 Outlet line → Valve → Tap or 12V pump

🔀 WHY TWO VALVES?

They let you control which line is active — especially important when using a one-directional 12V water pump.

Filling up:
✓ Fill valve OPEN
✓ Outlet/pump valve CLOSED
✓ Breather OPEN

Using water:
✓ Fill valve CLOSED
✓ Outlet/pump valve OPEN
✓ Breather CLOSED
✓ Water flows to your tap or pump

The bladder stays exactly as designed — you’re simply customising the plumbing outside it to suit your 4WD water setup. 🚙💧

💡 Good to know: The supplied lower hose kit has a tap with a ¾" female BSP thread, giving you a convenient connection point for your DIY setup.

🚙💧 WILL A WATER BLADDER MOVE AROUND OFF-ROAD??

Short answer: not if you pack it right.

A flexible water bladder is designed to work differently from a rigid tank. But just like any heavy load in your vehicle, where and how you install it matters.

💧 Remember: 100 litres of water weighs around 100 kg.

For a better touring setup:
✓ Choose a bladder that suits the available space
✓ Position it on a suitable, supportive surface
✓ Keep it away from sharp edges and hot components
✓ Make sure fittings aren't being pushed against surrounding objects
✓ Use the correct support or securing arrangement for the bladder design
✓ Check your setup before heading onto rough tracks
