Dealing with dense vegetation, tight spaces and steep terrain?

The RCU55 is FAE’s compact remote-controlled tracked carrier, designed to work where agility, control and stability make the difference.

With 56 hp, it can mulch branches, wood, grass and brush, tackling slopes up to 55Β°. The hydraulic variable track gauge undercarriage with independent track frames helps ensure stability and traction, even on steep terrain.

The FAE BL1/RCU mulcher with Bite Limiter technology ensures reliability and productivity.

In soil stabilization, milling and mixing operations, proper water management is a key factor in achieving a homogeneous material, protecting teeth and optimizing working times.

This is why FAE has developed dedicated systems for water management during processing.

βœ… The WSS system prevents excessive tool temperature rise, reduces wear and provides the soil with the correct moisture level for the binding agent used. It also allows shredding and/or mixing and hydration to be performed in a single pass.

βœ… For even more advanced management, the FCS system makes it possible to automatically set and maintain the exact amount of liquid to be delivered into the mixing chamber, according to the surface area, mixing volume and forward speed.

The result: greater process control, better performance and fewer work phases.

How do pieces of sheet metal become solid FAE structural frames?

At the FAE facility in Gambellara, Italy, flat pieces of laser-cut sheet metal are processed and assembled for use as essential structural components of FAE equipment.

First, the sheet metal is bent using manual or robotic press brakes, up to 4 meters long and with a bending force of 320 tons. The entire flow is integrated with the automatic warehouse system, which prepares the laser-cut pieces and brings them to the bending station.

After bending, the components move on to the frame tack welding phase. Operators carry out the pre-assembly, position the pieces according to the production plan, and perform the tack welds, which are essential for maintaining the correct frame geometry before final welding.

Finally, robotic welding makes it possible to achieve effective and precise welds. Operators then complete the welds in hard-to-reach areas or on components that need to be added only after the piece has cooled.

Another reason why FAE makes the difference in the field.

Not every job requires a heavy-duty mulcher. For land clearing and vegetation management professionals working with compact excavators, the FAE PML/EX, the most accessible mulcher in the FAE range, is the right answer.

Designed for excavators from 2 to 7.5 t, the PML/EX mulching attachment features a swinging hammer rotor, ideal for shredding light vegetation, brush and trees up to 5 cm in diameter.

The Direct Drive motor minimizes routine maintenance and allows for a compact machine body. In addition, compatibility with excavators without a drainage line simplifies installation, making the PML/EX a plug&play solution to start working right away.

On the job site, versatility and continuity are essential. An attachment capable of handling different types of work helps reduce interruptions while maintaining high performance.

The MTH is FAE’s top-of-the-range multitask for milling rock slabs, crushing stones, milling asphalt and stabilizing soil. All with a single attachment.

- For tractors from 300 to 500 hp
- Maximum operating depth of 50 cm
- Exclusive variable displacement chamber: the volume of the chamber increases based on the working depth, helping reduce fuel consumption and increase operating speed.
