When DSH Hire received the call late on Thursday, 19th March, the mission was clear: deliver a 100-person camp for flood recovery to support displaced residents across the NT.

What followed was an incredible effort. We reached out to locally owned Territory businesses around the clock, and together, achieved what seemed impossible — delivering the full project in just 10 days.

From start to finish, this included:
• Site pad preparation
• Multiple trucks
• Water infrastructure
• Delivery and installation of multiple buildings
• Complex building lifts
• Electrical infrastructure and emergency power
• Fencing, labour, and materials

This outcome simply wouldn’t have been possible without the outstanding coordination, dedication, and operational excellence of every team involved.

Konrad Beck recently commenced his Certificate III in Carpentry with Demountable Sales & Hire (DSH). He is a school-based apprentice as part of the Santos Foundation Program.
