WORTH THE WAIT.

The Brian Dorey Capricorn Coast OAM Aquatic Centre is now open, and it didn't take long for the community to make it their own.

From learn-to-swim classes and lap lanes to family weekends and community events, this is a facility built to bring people together and keep the Capricorn Coast active for generations to come.

Thank you to Livingstone Shire Council, Brian Hooper Architecture and Paul Curran at Push Architecture for the opportunity to help bring this project to life.

And to our consultants, contract partners and suppliers, thank you for helping turn a vision into a facility the Capricorn Coast community can enjoy for generations to come.

Now it's over to the swimmers, families, schools, sporting clubs and visitors who will make it their own.

See you by the pool. ⛱️

QUEENSLAND THROUGH & THROUGH

Queensland Day feels a little different when you've spent more than 140 years helping shape the places Queenslanders use every day.

The places where people learn, gather, receive care, celebrate milestones and feel at home.

Since 1884, we've had the privilege of working across cities, regional centres and rural communities throughout Queensland.

Not every project becomes a landmark.

But the best projects become part of a community's story.

Happy Queensland Day from the Woollam team.

SCAFFOLD IS COMING DOWN!

And suddenly the Anglicare Southern Queensland Youth Accommodation Project in Beenleigh is starting to feel a lot less like a construction site… and a lot more like future homes.

Level 1 apartments are nearing handover, flooring is going in, and the whole building is starting to hit that stage where you can finally picture people living here.

Best part? The noise, dust, coordination headaches and endless RFIs slowly start turning into something real.

Big credit to Bay Plaster, along with Woollam team members Nathan Stanley and Oscar Dearsley, for keeping momentum up and quality high as the project pushes into its next phase.

Still work to do.

But this week felt like a genuine milestone for a project that’ll have a real impact on young people in the Beenleigh community.

FROM WYBA TO REGIONAL MANAGER || Hayden’s 10-Year Woollam Journey

This month, we’re celebrating an incredible milestone for Hayden Ross, who officially marks 10 years with Woollam.

Hayden’s journey is a true reflection of what growth, commitment and opportunity can look like within our business. Starting as a WYBA Cadet in 2016, Hayden gained hands-on experience across estimating and on-site operations, building a strong foundation for the career that would follow.

From there, he stepped into a Contracts Administrator role, where he sharpened his coordination and project delivery skills before progressing into Project Management. Fast forward to today, and Hayden now leads as a Regional Manager — guiding teams, delivering major projects and continuing to make a significant impact across the business.

Throughout every stage of his journey, Hayden has brought a strong work ethic, leadership and commitment to the Woollam way. His progression is a testament to the opportunities that can grow from backing yourself, putting in the work and embracing every challenge along the way.

As we celebrate this milestone, we thank Hayden for his dedication, contribution and the positive impact he’s had over the past decade.

Congratulations Hayden — here’s to 10 years of growth, leadership and achievement, with plenty more still to come.

IN THE RUNNING — AND PROUD OF IT

We’re excited to see a number of our projects recognised in this year’s Master Builders Queensland Awards.

From Townsville to South East Qld, across a wide range of sectors, these projects reflect our people — teams who consistently go above and beyond to deliver quality outcomes and lasting legacies.

A great result for everyone involved, and a testament to the impact we’re creating in the communities we work in.

Wishing all entrants the very best — it’s an honour to be alongside such strong industry peers.

ANZAC DAY || WE REMEMBER.

Today we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and service of all Australians and New Zealanders who have served our country.

We reflect on those who came before us, including members of the Woollam family who answered the call — and those who never returned.

~ Lest we forget ~

HECK YES FOR HELENA’S HOUSE | Almost $50k raised in one night!

Brisbane Broncos vs North Queensland Cowboys. Packed stadium. Big energy.
A Woollam team right in it, backing Bestlife and raising funds for kids and teens with disability.

Five hours. Real momentum. A result that genuinely makes a difference.
Special mention to Adrian (Services) and his mate who led the charge with ~$3K in ticket sales.

And to every person who bought a ticket - THANK YOU! You made it count.
This is what getting behind something properly looks like.
