45 product configurators. Seven OPIE brands. One connected digital manufacturing platform.
We’ve officially launched 45 advanced product configurators across the OPIE Manufacturing Group digital ecosystem.
This is much more than putting our product catalogue online.
Our configurators are designed to help customers move from browsing to actually designing and specifying customised, buildable products, with manufacturing logic sitting behind the experience.
The 45 configurators currently span:

The platform brings together product configuration, specifications, visualisation, pricing and a pathway towards ordering, creating a much closer connection between the digital customer experience and the factory floor.
For us, that connection is important.
We manufacture physical products here in Australia. Now we’re building the digital infrastructure around those products to make them easier to configure, specify and ultimately manufacture.
It’s another step towards a more connected future for Australian manufacturing.

Yesterday, we were proud to welcome AMTIL and members of Australia’s manufacturing community to OPIE Manufacturing Group for a behind-the-scenes site visit at our Emu Heights facility.

It was a fantastic opportunity to open our doors, showcase our people, technology and Australian manufacturing capabilities, and discuss where OPIE is heading next.

The morning included a guided factory tour, insights into our manufacturing capacity and architectural capabilities, and a closer look at some of the advanced technology operating across OPIE.

We also marked an important milestone with the official launch of the new OPIE online platform.

AMTIL CEO Lorraine Maxwell had the honour of making the first click for our virtual ribbon cutting, officially opening the next chapter of OPIE’s digital presence.

A big thank you to Lorraine, the AMTIL team, our guests and everyone across OPIE who helped make the event possible.

We’re proud of what we manufacture here in Western Sydney, and even more excited about where we’re heading.

We’re excited to introduce Denis Xiao, our new Architectural Manager, who will be working closely with architects, designers, specifiers and project teams across the Sydney metropolitan area. Denis brings a Master of Architecture from the University of Sydney and joins OPIE Manufacturing Group to strengthen our relationships with the architectural community.

Denis will be visiting architectural practices to:
✅ Present our latest architectural and commercial building products
✅ Deliver accredited CPD presentations and technical product training
✅ Assist with specification and design development
✅ Discuss custom manufacturing solutions for unique project requirements
✅ Provide advice on fabricated architectural steel, custom metalwork, storage systems, drainage, access solutions and bespoke construction products
