🏡 SOUTH GUILDFORD BUILD COMPLETE! 🔨✨

Sometimes you don’t need a monster shed taking over the whole backyard — you just need a really well-designed one. And this 6m x 6m Deluxe Garage in South Guildford ticks that box beautifully. 👌

With 36m² of usable space, 3m eaves and a classic 15° gable roof, it’s a great-sized backyard garage with plenty of room for storage, hobbies, tools, vehicles… or all the stuff that was slowly taking over the house. 😂

And this one has been designed with access and natural light in mind:
🚗 2 x roller doors along one side
🪟 3 x windows
🚪 Separate personal access door
🏠 6m x 6m footprint
📏 3m wall height

The accessory layout in the final manufacture documents shows just how practical this little setup is — two roller doors giving excellent access into the shed, with windows positioned along two sides to bring some natural light inside.

🎨 And you really can't go wrong with Woodland Grey!
The client went all-in with COLORBOND steel Woodland Grey throughout — walls, roof, ridge, flashings, gutters, downpipes, roller doors, PA door and windows. The result is clean, modern and understated, and works perfectly with this classic gable design. 🩶

But as always, the finished shed is only the bit you see in the photos.

There’s a whole lot of paperwork, planning and coordinating that happens before the first piece of steel goes up! 😅

For this project, Spinifex Sheds also handled the site plan, planning application and building permit application, including the associated shire fees. That's where building with a registered builder makes life a whole lot easier.

🏡 ROLEYSTONE SHED COMPLETE! 🌿✨

This one might not be our biggest build, but it is a seriously clever use of space! A custom skillion shed with an attached annexe, designed to give the owners enclosed storage/workshop space AND a handy covered area alongside it. 🙌

The complete building measures 6.04m wide x 9m long, made up of a 3m enclosed shed plus a 3.04m annexe, with a sleek 5° skillion roof reaching approximately 3.06m at the high side.

And the colour combo on this cladding from COLORBOND steel is 👌

Inside, this shed isn't just four walls and a roof either. It's been fitted out with Air-Cell Insulshed insulation to the roof and walls, making the space much more comfortable and usable year-round.

🏠 3.04m attached annexe for extra undercover space

We especially love the front elevation on this one — the skillion roof, window, PA door and roller door all across the same face give it a much more modern look than your traditional backyard shed. The final accessory layout was confirmed before manufacture, exactly as shown on the construction documents.

🏗️ SERPENTINE SHED COMPLETE! 🌿

This one is a BIG beauty — 120m² of shed space, plus a 1.5m awning running along the side. Plenty of room for cars, toys, tools, a workshop… or all of the above! 😍

Built in Serpentine, this Deluxe Garage measures 10m wide x 12m long with 3.5m eaves, a 15° gable roof and an impressive ridge height of approximately 4.84m.

And with a shed this size, one roller door clearly wasn't going to cut it! 😂

This build features:
🚗 3 x B&D Firmadoor roller doors, each with an opening approximately 2.925m high x 2.874m wide
🏠 1.5m side awning for some handy extra covered space
🚪 Large glass sliding door with flyscreen
🧱 Concrete slab supplied and poured by Spinifex

📐 120m² main shed footprint – that's about the size of a small house!

🎨 And can we talk about the colours?!
The final colour selection combines Pale Eucalypt roof and wall sheeting with Windspray flashings, gutters and downpipes, while the door are finished in Surfmist. Such a classic combination for a big country shed — soft, clean and right at home in Serpentine. 🌿🤍

But the finished shed is only part of the story.

🏗️ ANOTHER BALCATTA BEAUTY COMPLETE! 🏡🔨

There’s something very satisfying about seeing the drawings turn into concrete, steel and finally a finished shed ready to use — and this Balcatta build has come up a treat!

This one is a 7m x 6m Deluxe Garage, giving the owners 42m² of seriously useful space, with 3m eaves and a 15° roof pitch. The plans show a ridge height of approximately 3.94m, giving this compact garage plenty of presence.
And this isn't just four walls and a roof. 👇

🚗 Huge 5m-wide roller door — because squeezing through a tiny garage opening is no-one's idea of fun!
🚪 Personal access door
🪟 Window with flyscreen
🚶 Large glazed sliding door — adding natural light and making this space much more versatile than your average backyard shed.
❄️ Roof AND wall insulation, helping create a much more comfortable and usable space throughout Perth's hot summers and chilly winter mornings.

🎨 And how good is this colour combination?
The final selections paired COLORBOND® Woodland Grey wall sheeting with a Wallaby roof and ridge, while the roller door, access door, sliding door, windows, gutters, downpipes and trims were all specified in Woodland Grey. A smart, modern combination that works beautifully on this style of garage.

The finished design uses Trimdek wall cladding with corrugated roof sheeting, and like our Ranbuild projects generally, it's backed by quality Australian BlueScope steel. 🇦🇺

But one of our favourite parts of this project isn't something you'll necessarily notice in the finished photos...
