Big transformation underway on this one.
To open this space up properly, we removed the original central brick pier that was supporting the roof load and installed a new structural steel beam system in its place. Before any work started, we worked closely with a structural engineer to ensure everything was designed, certified and approved correctly through council.
With the main beam weighing over 230kg, we used material hoists to safely lift and position it into place, along with additional concealed steel plates installed within the roof cavity to properly distribute and support the load.
A lot of planning and precision went into this project to make sure everything was completed safely, professionally and to engineering specifications — while still achieving the open living space the client was hoping for.
This is only stage one of the renovation, and we’ll be returning soon to continue the transformation with:
• removal of existing floor tiles
• new windows
• additional sliding / stacker doors
• final gyprock setting and painting

Transforming unused space into something functional 👌
We recently completed this outdoor area by enclosing an existing patio with new framing and Linea cladding, creating a clean, modern space ready for a future outdoor kitchen.
Designed to blend seamlessly with the home while adding practicality and value — this area is now set up perfectly for entertaining all year round.
Built with longevity and future plans in mind.

Composite decking project complete ✅
This new reinforced deck was built in the client’s pool area, designed to support the future installation of a spa and sauna. Strength, durability, and a clean modern finish were key on this one.
Big final push to get it over the line — including working through the rain on the last day (hence the wet boards in the photos 🌧️).
Ready now, future-proofed for what’s to come.
