Meet Donovan 👋
With a Bachelor of Construction Management and experience across project and custom residential construction, Donovan brings a strong mix of technical knowledge, practical experience and problem solving to the Garnet team.
His day to day involves keeping a lot of moving parts moving - solving problems, managing deadlines, coordinating people and making sure projects stay on track.
Or, as Donovan puts it, he’s a bit of a construction firefighter. 🔥
Most fires can thankfully be handled with a phone call… and a coffee.
For Donovan, one of the best parts of the job is watching a set of plans become a real home and knowing he’s played a part in creating something meaningful for the people building it.
Outside of work, life looks a little different. He answers to two furry bosses who, according to Donovan, kindly allow him to live in their house.
And if he were building tomorrow? A Japanese inspired garden designed specifically for them would be non-negotiable. 🐈
His advice for anyone building is simple:
“Ask questions, understand what you’re building and make informed decisions. The more you know, the better the outcome.”
