Wow 🤯 Thank you 🙏

Well done and thank you to all those that supported us, Team JOSCON combined raised $12,533!!

Hobart City Mission ‘Sleep Rough 2026’ raised an amazing $242,733 – their highest ever result, astounding given the current economic climate and pressure felt from increased cost of living – showing that those that can help, do, even if in a small way, as it all adds up.

Dreams do come true!

We recently handed over the keys of this absolute cracker of a custom home to a beautiful family.

Photos just don’t do this home justice, it’s truly one of a kind. The products, colours and materials are on point, with our Interior Designer Isabel working together with what we now realise are clients with incredible taste!

The design itself started with a briefing meeting with our concept design partner Simon, and working with a large list of requirements and on a set budget, a bespoke custom home design was created that perfectly suits the block of land and the families needs in a home.

We are beyond chuffed to have helped this family achieve their stunning new dream home, a place where incredible memories can be created!

Chuffed 🥰

Tonight ‘The Merewyn’ goes up against the best in the country as a finalist in the 2026 HIA Australian Project Home of the Year.

We started work on this design and exploring modern barn style architecture way back in early 2022, released ‘The Merewyn’ design mid 2022, then not long after found the perfect block to build one ourselves!

We started this particular home on-site September 2023, completed July 2024, then opened to the public for six weeks before the delighted new home owners took their keys.

We’re very proud this home has already won Tasmanian HIA Project Home of the Year, and extremely proud to see it as a national finalist.

A huge thank you to all involved in this project. 🙏

At JOSCON Tasmania, it’s all about the people!

Meet Harry Gardner, Coby Devine & Gazz Devine, all joining us in our Construction team.

If you’ve ever been through a JOSCON Tasmania home, well you’ve already seen their craftsmanship first hand, as they have been working for us on a sub-contract basis now for over two years, and we are delighted to now welcome them all on board as staff.

Coby & Harry have both been appointed as Qualified Carpenters, with Gazz taking on the newly created role of Carpentry Manager.

Building a home is such an important decision in anyone’s life, that is why we ensure it’s only the best people and skilled trades, like Coby, Harry & Gazz, who are on Team JOSCON.

National Finalists!!🤞

‘The Mary’ display home has won every award available to it within Tasmania with judges placing it above some high quality homes and some seriously large scale builders, something we’re very proud of, especially with 50%+ of their decision weighted on quality/craftsmanship. 🙏

Now we’re a national finalist in the HIA Australian Display Home of the Year, as proud as we are, winning a national award ain’t easy! With no price cap there’s some pretty bloody incredible competition nationally 👀🤯

So if you’re anything like us and you love housing, design, and interior design like we do, we think you’ll love looking at all the national finalists!

There’s some pretty amazing homes, and for us, no matter the result, we’re incredibly proud of what we build and just being a finalist.
