🚧 MEET THE CREW - MATTY BELL 🚧
Introducing Matt from Ingham — and no, this is NOT Rip from Yellowstone… although we’re still not entirely convinced this isn’t some elaborate cover-up! 😂🐎
All jokes aside, let’s introduce you to the man behind the cowboy look! 👇
🔹 How long have you been working for Marb Civil?
Matt has been with Marb Civil for four and a half years now! He joined the team after we were awarded the mowing contracts at the local Victoria and Macknade Mills.
With an impressive 10.5 years of experience in mowing contracts, Matt was the perfect person to step up and manage the contracts for us. Add to that his background in cane hauling and tree lopping, and you’ve got yourself one very handy bloke when it comes to vegetation management! 💪🌿
Secretly, though, I still think he rode straight out of Yellowstone and just made up the rest of his employment history…🤔😂
🔹 What’s your favourite part about working at Marb Civil?
For Matt, it’s the great team and the variety of work each week.
One week, he might be mowing, slashing and burning; the next, he’s working on road projects; and the week after that, he could be up Mount Fox carrying out rehabilitation works.
There’s never a dull moment, and no two weeks are quite the same! 🚜🌱
🔹 What’s your favourite job or place you’ve worked on?
We asked Matt this one expecting a big, heartfelt story about a memorable project… but apparently, we should’ve known better😆
His response?
“I don’t know. Every job has its good bits and bad bits. I mostly enjoy everything I do.”
😂 A man of few words, but we’ll take it! And honestly, we love hearing that he enjoys the variety of work that comes his way!
🔹 What does Matt get up to outside of work?
When he’s not managing contracts or keeping the vegetation under control, you’ll usually find Matt doing what he loves most — fishing, camping or just about anything outdoors! 🎣🏕️
A hardworking bloke, an all-round legend that never complains about any job thrown his way… Well not to our face anyway 😆
All jokes aside we’re very blessed to have him part of the Marb family and all that he has to bring! 👊🏼
FUN FACT - Matt gained his HC licence a few weeks ago, a few hours later he was already floating machinery up the Mount Fox Range, if that doesn’t speak volumes about the legend he is, I don’t know what does 💪🏼
