Welcome back to Tiny Homes TV. This time, we’re unpacking our Vermont Road BIG70 development 🎬

From the moment Jason first saw this site, the vision started to come to life. It was the perfect size and slope for three homes, but most importantly, an opportunity to show off what’s possible when you think tiny.

If you’re new here, you might not know of Tiny Homes Tasmania’s humble beginnings here in Launceston.

The story begins at Glebe Gardens, where Jason was a team of one, building what you now know as a TINY20 (a 20ft container tiny home). From there, it just continued to grow, with tiny homes taking up more and more of the carpark 😅

Over the next few weeks, we’re going to take you on the journey between that first container tiny home to now – BIG60s, BIG70s, developments, second storeys and plenty in between 🙌

And yes, it might look familiar – it’s the plan for each of the three homes at our Vermont Road development.

Last week, the crew headed south to Newtown to install this TINY40 💪

This 1-bedroom Container Tiny Home was built as an ancillary dwelling for our clients’ family – her own space to call home 🏡

Working within tight residential streets meant there was no room for error, but the team delivered it seamlessly, with one very happy client at the end.

Projects like this are what Tiny Homes Tasmania is all about. Creating flexible living solutions that genuinely work for families, now and into the future.

Big thanks to our clients for trusting us with it, great people and a great result 🙌
