A heritage Moonee Ponds home, and a kitchen built to feel commanding and modern without arguing with the architecture.

The Black Star stone veneer island anchors the room. Black Fine Oak cabinetry runs through the kitchen, then carries into the living zone as an integrated TV and display wall. Dekton Sabbia on the worktops brings light against the dark palette, so the space reads as dynamic rather than heavy.

Behind the main run, a wrap-around pantry with its own sink keeps the prep work tucked away when the entertaining starts.

A new Häcker kitchen built around a 4.5 metre island that anchors the whole home.

Natural Walnut runs the length of the back wall, warming the open-plan space. The island is wrapped in Dekton Laurent by Cosentino, with dark veining that sits against the timber. Grass runners on every drawer. Miele appliances, V-ZUG fridge and freezer, Franke tap.

The room holds together. Kitchen, dining and lounge in one long view, made for cooking, hosting and everyday living.
