Most people don’t realise this one decision completely changes how premium a timber floor looks.

Removing the skirting boards and reinstalling them over the new floor gives you a much cleaner, more refined finish.

Leaving the skirting in place and adding quad trim is faster and cheaper, but it’s ultimately a shortcut around the proper finish.
