Sent in by Brando from our fabrication crew last week was the crack repairs he completed for a client's ripper boot housing. All stages of the repair shown the same level of attention to detail from gouging, pre heat, weld and blending.

Do it right the first time, and you will only ever do it once.

Our Fixed Plant division is continuing to grow, with clients increasingly turning to Virtus to support critical operational and project requirements.

Whether we’re operating remotely on site, back in metro workshops, or anywhere in between, Virtus team of boilermakers and coded welders have the capability to support our customers wherever they need us.

When the client called for this project, the question was: “Can you fabricate a tank?”

Our answer was just as simple: if it’s steel, we can fabricate it.

The team got in, put the tank together, and applied the same welding standards we would perform on a critical production asset.

When it's all about the tonne's, a 500T digger is not the machine you want down and not producing.

A severe LHS arm crack pulled this asset up for our customer, and our field service team were sent in to fix it.

As always, our team equipped with the best in business boily trucks had this gouged, welded and pre heated in no time.
