Compliance meets spec.

These two steel columns both meet engineering specification requirements.

Epoxy protection is applied as required for structural steel and fixings this is the minimum standard.
On exposed underground applications, we go further by applying an additional protective coating system over the epoxy layer to improve long-term resistance to corrosion.
The reality is simple steel doesn’t fail at installation.
It fails slowly over time where no one is watching.

That’s why we focus heavily on the unseen detailing because long-term performance is determined below ground, not at handover.

This eyesore has been here long enough.

After being damaged by a vehicle some time ago, this wall was left fenced off and waiting for repairs.

Today, the temporary fencing comes down and the rebuilding begins.

ROT DOESN’T WAIT… AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU.

What started as a small section of timber rot on these tiled carport beams turned into a full structural replacement job.

Once moisture gets into external structural timber, the damage can spread far deeper than what’s visible on the surface. In this case, the entire roof structure needed to be propped, roof tiles removed, gutters and fascias stripped, and all beams replaced safely and correctly.

Regular maintenance and inspections can save thousands in major structural repairs later on.

If your external timberwork is showing signs of cracking, swelling, soft spots or rot don’t ignore it until its too late.

The timber used externally and the way its sealed on install has a large impact on longevity too. We always go over and above on renovation works.
