Well the ministry centre is now all sorted ready for use

Simple remove the wall, issue is it’s an old buildings but fortunately the wall was added later which meant it wasn’t part of the permanent structure, the hardest part was removing it and keeping everything looking pretty, just need to get some carpet fixed up and she’s all done

So it’s been awhile
The job today is a classic example of why you should keep up-to-date with your pest inspections especially white ants
The company I’m doing this for is religious about getting the property inspected for a white ant and this still happens

Ok so got a bit of cleanup to do tomorrow but this finally brings one of my biggest jobs to day to an end
Replace 4 stairs, 4 landing and build a new enclosure at the bottom
All out of hardwood with every fixing every screw and bracket on it including the post boots being stainless steel
2 weeks behind but that was due mainly to rain and a few delivery delays and things like that

Big Thanks to
Camtec and uplift for the help with additional carpenters and labours
And Abbey timber for all the hardwood lots and lots of hardwood

So I’ve just started one of my biggest jobs so far well since I’ve come back to being self employed
Huge staircase, S shaped down a hill to a dock
Been a bit of a pain from the get go lost nearly a week in rain starting day one, still a few extra carpenters to help and I’m hopping to catch up a bit
So far the old stairs are gone, footings are in and the carpenters are starting work on the platforms

Ok so a simple fence replacement
All up 16 m
Match excisting fencing on the rest of the property
Biggest challenge was finding a supplier for the lattice (and a dose of man flu 🤧)

So I’m still here still building
Been a while because I’ve had a few small jobs and a lot of overlapping work that just takes time to finish

This was a small job replacing some doors till the manager asked if I’d also have time to replace the stairs while I was there
The answer was obviously yes
Mill up some new stringers on site and throw them in
Not to big a job just gotta double check everything or things can really go astray

Ok so i have some photos for you all
So rotting decking boards, they where to close which caused water to pull and allow rot
Breff was just replace the worst of it, make safe
So easy one day job a lot bigger then expected but that’s not really surprising for the nature of this kind of damage
Still only rally got maybe 50% of the boards i could have done (just did the worst of what i could see)
