Step 2 of the build process: the backbone of the entire project… the slab.

Today we’re breaking down why we use waffle pod construction for our granny flat foundations. These foam pods do a lot more than just look interesting before the concrete pour. They create a grid of reinforced concrete beams that gives the slab incredible structural strength while lifting it off the ground for better insulation and thermal efficiency.
