We were grateful to be part of the very first Secret Supper hosted by Fuel For Schools Ltd, a wonderful local charity we’re proud to support and catered by Private Dining By Steele.

For every customer invoice paid on time, JS Welding Services donates $10 to Fuel for Schools. These funds help provide meals and essential school supplies to local children, giving them the best possible start. 💚

We recently welcomed Phil Yodico to the JS Welding Services team as our new Draftsman and Technical Support Specialist.
As our very first in-house draftsman, Phil is already making a positive impact with his efficiency, productivity and strong technical knowledge. This is an exciting milestone for our company as we continue to grow, strengthen our in-house capabilities and improve our production processes

We were thrilled to host the Hon Dale Last MP, Minister for Natural Resources and Mines and Manufacturing, our local Member for Townsville Adam Baillie MP, and Greg Palm from the Queensland Manufacturing Hub for a tour of our workshop.

It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our exciting new robotic equipment, made possible with the support of an LNP Government grant and Greg’s invaluable assistance in helping us understand the grant application process. This advanced technology is already improving our production capabilities and efficiency, supporting the continued growth of local manufacturing in North Queensland.

Another exciting project is nearing completion!

From fabricating the structural steelwork in our Townsville workshop and delivering it to site, through to installation by our team in Mackay, we’re proud to be contributing to the new Northern Beaches Community Hub for our valued client, Woollam Constructions Pty Ltd.

TRAINEESHIP - Truck Driver / Loader / Operator / Yardperson

JS Welding are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is aspiring to begin a career in the transport and construction industry.

The role will be full time, permanent position (probation period applies) and will involve:

• Loading and unloading trucks (structural steel and equipment)
• Routine Maintenance and Servicing
• Being Trained on Heavy Vehicles (HR / HC), Forklifts and Cranes with a view to obtain licences and tickets
• Local pick ups and deliveries
• Assisting with QA documentation (material tracking)
• Washing vehicles
• Yard work


Desirable attributes for the individual:

• Current Drivers Licence – manual car licence at minimum, MR or HR licences would be a bonus
• Good worker
• Mechanically minded
• Punctual, Reliable
• Willing to listen and learn
