🌴 Water Security for Maggie thanks to AGC💧

AGC was proud to have been engaged by Townsville City Council earlier this year to complete the Picnic Bay Reservoir Renewal, ensuring long-term water reliability for Maggie’s residents, businesses and visitors.

This $1.2 million project included:
✅ Removal of the old roof structure
✅ New concrete foundations & internal tank lining
✅ Full roof replacement with safe access ladder, platform & davit

AGC is pleased to have delivered the works with minimal disruption to the community and no interruption to water services.

AGC would like to thank all of our Sub Contractors, Suppliers and Consultants who made this project possible.

We’re proud to share that AGC took home two awards at the 2025 Master Builders Awards on Saturday night!

🏅 EQL Net Ops (North) Operations Facility
Phase One – GACC Lab Room Refurbishment
We carried out a full strip-out and rebuild of the existing lab space, including new ceilings, doors, glazed partitions, and upgrades to all services—mechanical, electrical, comms, and hydraulics. The space is now fully refreshed and operational.

Phase Two – NetOps Building One
This stage involved internal demolition and a full interior fit-out, including new linings, glazed partitions, and upgraded mechanical and electrical systems—complete with task lighting for improved functionality.

🏅 Townsville City Council Recycled Water Treatment Plant
This major design and construct project will produce 15ML of Class A recycled water per day—supporting Townsville’s sustainability goals and providing a reliable water source for industrial users in the dry tropics.
Key components delivered include:
✅ Integration with the existing CBPP facility
✅ 5ML raw & 3ML clean water holding tanks
✅ UV treatment facility & distribution pump station
✅ New electrical Switchroom, 2MVA transformer & backup generator
✅ 7km of pipeline to deliver recycled water to local industry
This project showcases AGC’s commitment to delivering complex civil infrastructure with innovation, reliability, and environmental responsibility.
