Awkward angles don’t deter us. Whether it means hand‑augering or adapting our approach on site, we believe that where there’s a will, there’s always a way.

This photo, taken recently at Jindera Pool, reflects our commitment to going beyond simply collecting data. Our focus is on generating meaningful, high‑quality insights that genuinely support our clients’ needs and decisions.

We would like to thank Richard Crookes Constructions for their ongoing use of our services and for continuing to involve us in the Temora Hospital Redevelopment project. Throughout the project, we have been engaged across a range of works including bearing assessments, concrete testing, and batter slope assessments.

We appreciate their continued support and collaboration, and we look forward to strengthening and growing this relationship into the future.

This is Liam and if you’ve worked with Inland Geo, chances are you’ve relied on his work. With nearly 10 years’ experience across Inland Geo and McMahon prior to the company split, Liam brings consistency, accuracy, and professionalism to every project he touches.

Reliable sampling and dependable results don’t just happen they come from experience, attention to detail, and actually caring about the outcome. That’s what sets our team apart. We take the time to understand our clients’ projects, because we know the data we deliver directly impacts real decisions on site.

At Inland Geo, reliability isn’t a slogan it’s how we operate. We care about your project as if it were our own, and that commitment is what differentiates us from the competition.

Proud to have people like Liam on the team delivering results our clients can trust.

When you need reliable subsurface data, a DCP will only take you so far literally.

Once you’re past about 1 m, DCP results become increasingly unreliable due to shaft friction, rod weight, and loss of energy transfer. That’s why we step up to the Standard Pe*******on Test (SPT).

Our SPT gives us meaningful and accurite data such as:
- N‑values for soil strength and density
- Stratification changes and refusal depths
- Sample recovery for lab testing
- Foundation design parameters our clients can actually rely on

Here are the boys in action this week, helping our clients get the accurate ground information they need to make confident decisions on site

Did you know that asbestos can occur naturally in the ground—not just in old buildings and construction materials?

It’s one of the reasons contamination checks are so important before excavation or infrastructure work begins.

We were recently onsite in Gundagai, NSW, carrying out a Contamination Investigation ahead of the proposed water and sewer main replacement works. Our team drilled 24 boreholes to 1.5 m, assessed the subsurface conditions, and collected soil samples for NATA‑accredited laboratory testing to check for asbestos or any other contaminants. All results will be compiled into a clear Geotechnical Data Report (GDR) to support safe and compliant planning for the works.

If you need similar investigations, contamination testing, or drilling completed for your project, don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re always happy to help.

🔍 Geotechnical Investigation and Land Assessment 🔍

Inland Geo recently carried out a comprehensive geotechnical investigation, providing a detailed geotechnical data report, a geotechnical interpretive report (site classification), and a land capability assessment within Kosciuszko National Park. Our work supports safe land use planning and sustainable development within protected natural environments.

We’re committed to delivering thorough insights that help balance infrastructure needs with environmental stewardship.

Proud to contribute to projects that promote responsible land managementđź’š

Hard core!đź’Ş

Here we are undertaking a sub-slab investigation to assess the potential cause of movement underneath a house. Our desktop study identifed a filled gully on site from historical aerial photographs and the core testing confirmed this. Our investigations are all encompassing and use all the available information to build a comprehensive goetechnical model that represents the geotechnical properties of the ground applicable to the project. 🏠 🌳
