OMS Engineering began its journey as a provider of statutory and project services to clients. With a shared commitment to striving for excellence and delivering high-quality work, OMS Engineering has consistently boasted an exceptionally skilled team to assist our clients with their regulatory and project requirements. Our team has successfully built a strong reputation amongst our clients. Recognising a strong demand for customised engineering solutions, OMS Engineering had a transformative journey over the past year. We have expanded our offerings to include a comprehensive suite of engineering services, such as design, drafting, relevant engineering, as well as asset integrity and inspection services such as Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).

A Proud Milestone in Our OMS Engineering Journey! 🎉

I am delighted to share another exciting milestone in the journey of OMS Engineering Pty Ltd, we have officially relocated to our newly purchased office at Unit 4, 18 Craftsman Close, Beresfield NSW 2322 from Tomago Newcastle. As I reflect on this achievement, I feel incredibly proud and grateful for how far we have come.

Our journey began in 2018 in Wollongong, when we established OMS Engineering with a vision to provide reliable and professional engineering services to the industry.

We initially focused on Project Services and Statutory Services. In 2022, we expanded our capabilities into Engineering Design and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and began providing NDT services in the Newcastle region.
Since then, we have continued to grow, building strong relationships with clients, expanding our team and strengthening our technical capabilities.

Our New Milestone 🏢
Today marks another special chapter for OMS Engineering.
We have officially moved into our own newly purchased office in Beresfield, Newcastle.

This is more than just a new office. It represents years of hard work, commitment, perseverance and the continued growth of our business.
I would like to sincerely thank our dedicated employees, valued clients, industry colleagues, mentors, friends and everyone who has supported us throughout this journey.

Your trust, encouragement and support have played an important role in helping OMS Engineering reach this milestone.
We are excited about the next chapter and look forward to continuing to grow, creating opportunities and delivering quality engineering and NDT services across the industry.

Experienced and ready to step up?
Our Senior Technician opportunities are suited to experienced Level 2 technicians with strong field skills, reporting capability, client communication and leadership experience.

Trainee → Level 1 → Level 2 Technician → Multi-Method Technician → Senior NDT Technician → Level 3 / Technical Leadership

🌱 Beyond Engineering – Empowering Knowledge, Shaping the Future 🌱

As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, we are proud to share another milestone through our Beyond Engineering charity initiative, supporting Government High School, Marballi, Mysore, India.
During our visit to the school, we identified several areas where additional resources could make a meaningful difference to the students’ learning and development:

🔹 Limited infrastructure and equipment for the Mathematics Laboratory
🔹 Insufficient equipment and learning materials for the Science Laboratory
🔹 Limited resources for music activities
🔹 Limited equipment for sports activities
🔹 A shortage of plates and glasses for the Mid-Day Meal Program

To help address these needs, we donated:

🔬 Science & Mathematics Laboratory Equipment
🏏 Sports Equipment and Materials
🥁 Music Band Set
🍽️ Steel Plates & Glasses for the Mid-Day Meal Program

We believe education goes beyond the classroom. Hands-on learning, practical experience, sport, music and access to basic resources all play an important role in shaping young minds.

Beyond Engineering – Empowering Knowledge, Shaping the Future

As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, we are proud to share the latest milestone in our charity initiative, supporting Government Higher Primary School, Yaraganahalli, Mysore, India.

During our visit to the school, we identified several key challenges affecting the students' learning environment, including:

Limited infrastructure for the Mathematics Laboratory
Insufficient equipment and materials for the Science Laboratory
A shortage of children's lunch utensils

To help address these needs, we donated Science and Mathematics Laboratory equipment along with children's lunch utensils to the school.
