𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬. 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰.

This stormwater access chamber features a 3600mm solid section and a 2100mm elongated inner drum, creating a total structure length of 5700mm. Multiple pipe connections have been incorporated to maximise water movement and system efficiency.

When projects demand large-scale, custom stormwater solutions, the right formwork makes all the difference.

One of our favourite projects from last year.

This stormwater access chamber reached an impressive 11.5 metres in depth, constructed using a 4m inner and 5.1m outer form system.

Demacs Constructions completed the structure safely and efficiently using progressive backfilling throughout construction.

The interesting thing about projects like this is that once construction is complete, most people would never realise the scale of the infrastructure hidden beneath their feet.

It's a great example of the large-scale stormwater structures our formwork systems are designed to support.

MegaFlow recently completed this impressive 3000mm high stormwater pit in Riverstone, Sydney’s North West, using Manhole Form Hire heavy duty panels.

One of the biggest advantages we offer our customers is the huge range of panel sizes we carry. With multiple widths available, we were able to supply forms that matched the exact pit dimensions required for the project — helping make installation more efficient onsite.

Having the right sizes available can make a big difference when it comes to meeting project specifications, reducing unnecessary adjustments, and keeping jobs moving smoothly.

Great work by Jake and the MegaFlow team on this one.

A great example from Shadforth Civil of how a standard stormwater pit setup can still require plenty of smart thinking on site.

Using one of our elongated drums, the team constructed this pit to allow access for multiple incoming pipes while maintaining a clean and practical layout. It’s the kind of adjustment that happens regularly in civil construction, but it still takes experience and good planning to get it right.

We always enjoy seeing how crews adapt our gear to suit different site requirements and challenges.

Job well done as always Shadforth.

Not every job calls for heavy-duty solutions—and that’s where versatility really shines.

Our light-duty pit boxes are designed for efficiency on-site, but their usefulness doesn’t stop there. We’re seeing more projects repurpose them as planter boxes, creating clean, structured landscaping that perfectly complements new builds.

It’s a smart way to get more value out of the same equipment—functional during construction, then seamlessly transitioning into a finished aesthetic feature.

Practical. Versatile. Built to go beyond the original brief.

At Manhole Form Hire, it’s not just about supplying equipment—it’s about providing solutions that keep delivering long after the job is done.

When timelines are tight and projects can’t afford delays, availability matters just as much as quality.

On a recent project at Fairfield West Public School, Galston Plumbing used our heavy-duty panel system to construct multiple pits simultaneously. By stacking our 900mm panels on top of 1500mm panels, they were able to achieve the exact height required—efficiently and safely.

But the real advantage? Capacity.

Because we hold a large volume of stock, Galston Plumbing didn’t have to stage their pours or wait on additional equipment. They completed several pits at once—saving valuable time on-site and reducing overall project costs.

It’s a simple equation:
More gear = less waiting = faster completion.

At Manhole Form Hire, reliability isn’t just about delivering quality equipment—it’s about having enough of it, when you need it.

Another solid install using Manhole Form Hire tapered formwork 👇

Chalker Plumbing recently constructed this manhole in Yowie Bay to provide safe and reliable access to the sewer network below.

By using our tapered formwork with risers stacked underneath, they were able to efficiently achieve the required depth while maintaining structural integrity and ease of installation on site.

It’s a practical solution that keeps projects moving — especially when depth and access are critical.

If you’re working across NSW or Victoria and need a smarter way to build manholes, we’ve got you covered.
