However, his participation in an international & national training, workshop, and seminars are 19 numbers (Nos.) respectively. Total continuing professional development (CPD) is 230 hours per year, approximately, from 2019 to 2020-21-22-23.

একজন সচেতন ভবন মালিক তার ভবনটি ভূমিকম্প সহনীয় (Earthquake Resistant) ডিজাইনে নির্মিত হয়েছে কিনা তা যাচাই করতে আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করেছেন।
সেই লক্ষ্যে আমরা ভবনটির বিস্তারিত স্ট্রাকচারাল অ্যাসেসমেন্ট কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করছি।

আমাদের কাজের পরিধিঃ

* পূর্বের স্ট্রাকচারাল ডিজাইন ও ড্রইং যাচাই।
* বর্তমান অবস্থা ও ব্যবহার অনুযায়ী ভবনের লোড অ্যানালাইসিস।
* কংক্রিটের শক্তি ও গুণগত মান পরীক্ষা।
* স্ট্রাকচারাল দুর্বলতা শনাক্তকরণ ও প্রয়োজনীয় রেট্রোফিটিং/সমাধান প্রস্তাব।

একটি ভবনের নিরাপত্তা শুধুমাত্র সুন্দর স্থাপত্যে নয়, বরং তার সঠিক স্ট্রাকচারাল সক্ষমতার উপর নির্ভর করে। বিশেষ করে ভূমিকম্পপ্রবণ অঞ্চলে নিয়মিত স্ট্রাকচারাল মূল্যায়ন অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

ড্রয়িং বুঝে কাজ করলেও ইঞ্জিনিয়ারের সুপারভিশন বাধ্যতামূলক করা উচিত।

কাজের টিম ভালো না হলে কাজের কোয়ালিটি সর্বনাশ করে ছাড়ে এটাই বাস্তবতা।
তার উপরে যদি ইঞ্জিনিয়ারের সুপারভিশন না থাকে তাহলেতো কথাই নাই🤣🤲🤲

মিটিং, টিম লিড, ASEP, ডিজাইন, ড্রাফটিং চেক, সাবমিশন। সবই একজন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারের দায়িত্বের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ।
কিন্তু এর পাশাপাশি নিয়মিত সাইট ভিজিট না থাকলে বাস্তব নির্মাণের সাথে ডিজাইনের সংযোগ ধীরে ধীরে দুর্বল হয়ে যায়।

কারণ বাস্তব স্ট্রাকচার শুধু সফটওয়্যার বা ড্রইং দিয়ে দাঁড়ায় না,
দাঁড়ায় ফিল্ড কন্ডিশন, workmanship, sequencing, material behavior, contractor capability আর ex*****on reality এর উপর।

অনেক সময় দেখা যায়:

* ড্রইং technically correct, কিন্তু constructability দুর্বল
* Rebar congestion এমন যে site এ binding করাই কঠিন
* Shuttering বা staging practicality বিবেচনায় নেই
* Architectural, MEP ও structural coordination clash করছে
* Concrete casting sequence বা site access চিন্তা করা হয়নি
* Field tolerance আর actual workmanship capability design stage এ ধরা হয়নি

এই বিষয়গুলো অফিসে বসে পুরোপুরি বোঝা যায় না।
সাইটই একজন ডিজাইনারকে শেখায় কোন detailing বাস্তবে কাজ করে, আর কোনটা শুধু calculation এ সুন্দর দেখায়।

তাই বড় ডিজাইনার হতে হলে শুধু analysis জানলেই হয় না,
field behavior বুঝতেও হয়।
কারণ বাস্তব construction হচ্ছে engineering এর সবচেয়ে বড় laboratory।

এই কারণেই অনেক experienced site engineer মাঝেমধ্যে purely office based designer থেকেও practical decision এ এগিয়ে থাকে।

প্রশ্নটা তাই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ:
“আমরা কি শুধু structure calculate করছি, নাকি structure actually কীভাবে দাঁড়ায় সেটাও শিখছি?”
