Do you know what one rotten potato could cost you?

Here's why it adds up so fast.

One rotten potato can start a hot spot in your store. The rot spreads to the potatoes next to it, the heat builds, and the rot spreads even faster. In a warm, damp store with poor airflow, it can break down a whole store in just a few days.

A 10,000-ton store holds over $2 million worth of potatoes. That's a lot riding on one bad potato.

Our tip: keep your store below 50°F (10°C). That's where the bacteria behind this rot slow right down.
