Sylvan Construction Dedicated Company in making Dreams a Reality for their Customers. This position eventually evolved into Project Manager.

Brian started working in construction at the age of 12 for his father’s company, Brockville Construction. Moving to Belleville, Brian enrolled into the Loyalist College program Civil Engineering Technician, returning on weekends to work for Brockville Construction. After receiving his diploma Brian worked for numerous trades including electrical and plumbing and then returned as Site Foreman for B

rockville Construction. At the same time, Brian went on to start his own company, Centennial Woodworks, building houses, renovations and specializing in stairs. In 2013, with 22 years experience under his belt, Brian incorporated his business and changed the company name to Sylvan Construction. Brian believes that a successful project begins with clear and extensive communication with client and sub-trades. Clients of Sylvan Construction experience unmatched customer service throughout the process, keeping the project on time and within budget.

With 20 years of carpentry experience, Eric has been building for as long as he can remember. In fact, his passion for construction started with something many of us know and love—LEGO! 🧱

What began as building creations as a kid grew into a rewarding career creating spaces and projects that stand the test of time.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Sylvan Construction, Eric says it’s the team.

This Friday afternoon, our crew was on site at Fire Station 1 pouring a concrete pad for a new generator installation.

This marks our second generator pad at the station, with the first completed in the fall of last year. Working alongside our electrical contractor, we’ve handled all the civil work to help prepare the site for this important infrastructure upgrade.

The concrete is poured, the finishing touches are underway, and we’ll be back Monday for final cleanup before wrapping up the project.

Proud to support projects that help keep our local emergency services powered and ready when the community needs them most. 💪

A few days ago, the crew at Sylvan took on one of the wildest jobs yet. 🏗️💪🏻

After a massive boulder damaged this steel staircase along the Thousand Islands Parkway a couple years back, it took months of engineering, planning, and coordination to make the repair happen safely.

Crane day finally arrived — lifting in a brand new section of stringer while the team welded, rebuilt, and brought the staircase back to life cliffside.

Not your average day on the job… but the crew made it happen. 🔥

Big day on site today. 🔥🏗️

A couple years ago, a boulder came down the cliff and damaged this steel staircase leading to the cottage on the Thousand Islands Parkway. After two years of engineering, planning, problem-solving, and precision work… today was finally install day.

With the help of a crane, the damaged section was removed, a brand new stringer was set in place, welding is underway, the lower post is repaired, and the team is already into cleanup mode before noon. 👏

Projects like this don’t happen overnight — they take experience, patience, and a crew that knows how to get it done safely and properly.

Not your average staircase install. 💪
