Officially back to work after some recovery time due to fractured ribs (and a permanent retirement from the snowboarding).

We’ve hit the ground running with some major mechanical upgrades, including a comprehensive Poly-B remediation (a full house re-piping).
We also managed to wrap up several furnace replacements just in time for the end of the season. Looking forward to a busy spring ahead!

Have you shut off the water to your hose bibs (also referred to as an outdoor tap or spigot)?

Have you replaced your furnace filters (filter arrows point towards the furnace)?

Have you checked your humidifier pad?

It's cold again, so it might be a good idea to do it asap. It may prevent burst pipes.
• Shut off the isolation valves to your hose bibs (inside your house)
• Disconnect your house from the outdoor hose bib
• open the outdoor hose bib in case it's air locking
• drain it from the little bleeder valve (located inside your house. As seen in the image).

Here's what a recent client's upgrade looked like:
Piping: Replaced CPVC waterlines, which has been known to fail, with UV resistant PEX and a custom-built manifold. We added isolation valves and quick-drain valves to prevent freezing and make draining easier.

Furnace: Installed a Keeprite 2-stage variable speed high-efficiency furnace for better heat distribution and improved savings. A larger filter rack and furnace stand were also added to increase airflow (prolonging the unit's parts, life expectancy, and help lower operating costs).

Water Heater: Swapped the old TANK for a Rinnai RX199iN Tankless Water Heater, providing continuous hot water on demand and freeing up space. This unit also comes with a 15-year heat exchanger warranty.
