𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Work is well underway on the preload on the site of the future South of Fraser Maintenance and Storage Facility.

To date, efforts have focused on ground preparation and improvement across challenging conditions, including peat excavation, preload placement, wick drain installation and ongoing settlement monitoring.

With significant volumes of material moved, crews on site continue to put in a strong effort as work progresses through this phase of the project.

Culvert replacement helps keep water moving and infrastructure working the way it should.

At Cooper’s Corner on Highway 1, crews are installing a new culvert to improve drainage and long-term reliability. Working in an active corridor takes planning, coordination, and time to do it properly.

It’s steady work, but it plays an important role in keeping things moving.

Nothing brings the team together quite like good food.

We had a food truck set up in the breezeway for our office and shop staff to grab lunch and take a quick break together. It was a great chance to step away from the desk or the shop floor, catch up with coworkers, and enjoy some seriously good food.

A big thank you to The Chefs Acre for coming out - and to the crew keeping things moving both in the office and out in the yard every day.

Our annual holiday party is a chance to bring everyone together, reflect on the year, and recognize the people who make Klaassen Group what it is.

This year, we were proud to celebrate two significant milestones - 25 years with the company for Derek Bryce and Ken MacAndrew.

That kind of tenure doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built over time through steady leadership, hard work, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Both Derek and Ken have contributed to countless projects and helped shape the teams around them over the years.
