Can-Vac Oilfield Service

Haunted House 2026 Donor Thank You
October 26, 2026

Dear Donors, Sponsors and Supporters,

On behalf of Can-Vac Oilfield Service, thank you for helping make our 2026 Haunted House possible. Your generous donations of raffle prizes, candy, decorations, building materials, equipment, food, insurance and services brought this event to life and helped us support three local charities.
We welcomed 1,368 visitors and raised $11,997.60 for our charities. We are pleased to share the following amounts:
Cause for Critters — $4,647.00
Stockings for Seniors — $3,509.60
Santa’s Anonymous — $3,841.00
Our high school challenge added so much creativity and excitement. Frank Maddock High School received 1,000 votes and will receive the $2,790 raised through the raffle. Holy Trinity Academy received 926 votes and will receive $250, generously donated by Breton Oilmens Association. These school awards are separate from the charity total above.
A special thank you to Brandette Well Servicing and Lambs Trucking for sponsoring the high school challenge, and to both schools’ students and helpers for the imagination and effort they put into their rooms.
To every business and individual who contributed, thank you. From helping us build and decorate to supplying prizes, treats and meals, your support made a difference. We also appreciate our volunteers, live props, makeup artists, building and decorating crews, front-of-house helpers and staff for giving their time and energy.
Although Friday evening’s unexpected closure was disappointing, the community’s response was overwhelming. We are especially grateful to everyone who returned, waited patiently in line on our final night and helped us finish the event with such strong support. A special thank you to the Sinclair family for jumping in and bringing industrial fans on Friday night to help air out the haunted house.
We are proud to be part of a community that comes together for others. Please accept our sincere thanks for your generosity and for helping make this year’s Haunted House a success.
With heartfelt thanks,
The Can-Vac Haunted House Team

🎃👻 THAT’S A WRAP ON THE 2026 CAN-VAC HAUNTED HOUSE! 👻🎃

As we close the doors on another year, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude! ❤️

THANK YOU to everyone who came out, donated, volunteered, and cheered on their favourite high school! Your support means more to us than words can express.

After the unfortunate circumstances that forced us to close Friday evening, we honestly didn’t know what to expect.

But WOW… our community showed up! ❤️

To everyone who stood in line for HOURS last night, patiently waiting for their turn to be scared — THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS! You helped make up for the loss of Friday night, and I cannot begin to explain how much that means to us and, most importantly, to the local charities we work so hard to support.

To Frank Maddock High School and Holy Trinity Academy, thank you for bringing your creativity, enthusiasm, and competitive spirit to this year’s Haunted House! You made this year extra special, and we loved watching the community come out to support you both! 🏫👻

To our incredible volunteers, live props, sponsors, donors, and everyone who worked behind the scenes — none of this would be possible without you. The hours, hard work, and dedication you put into this event do not go unnoticed.

At the end of the day, this Haunted House has always been about more than just scares. It’s about bringing our community together, creating memories, and raising money for Cause for Critters, Santa’s Anonymous, and Stockings for Seniors. ❤️

Despite the challenges this year, our community reminded us exactly why we continue to do this.

I am truly overwhelmed with gratitude.
