What a success the Level Up! Skilled Trades Career Fair was!

Our team had a great time connecting with students and teachers from across Greater Sudbury and beyond through hands-on activities like our PLC reaction-time challenge, tool identification station, and Pascal's Law demonstration.

It was especially rewarding to hear teachers tell us they had recently covered Pascal's Law in class. Seeing students make the connection between what they're learning in the classroom and future careers in the skilled trades is exactly what this fair is all about.

Thank you to the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce for hosting another excellent Sudbury Mining Week Luncheon and to everyone who joined the conversation.

Magna Mining CEO Jason Jessup joined Steve Gravel for a fireside chat discussing the planned restart of Levack Mine, the recently completed Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) for the Crean Hill Project, the value of brownfield mining opportunities, and the people and culture that continue to drive Magna forward.

We were pleased to see such a strong turnout.

Yesterday was an exciting day for Magna Mining.

We celebrated the approved restart of Levack Mine, an important milestone for our company and a major step forward as we continue building our presence in the Sudbury Basin.

We were pleased to welcome local media, community members, business leaders, and representatives from municipal, provincial, and federal government to the site to mark the occasion.

Guests heard from Magna Mining CEO Jason Jessup, COO Jeff Huffman, Greater Sudbury Mayor Paul Lefebvre, and Herb Watkins, President of Unit 55 and Vice President of United Steelworkers Local 2020, who shared their perspectives on what this restart means for workers, families, and the future of mining in our region.

As Jason shared during the event, what makes him most excited about Levack is the combination of an exceptional team and exceptional geology. We have talented people, a strong culture, and we continue to see encouraging exploration results that point to additional potential.

Levack didn't begin with 100 years of reserves. That legacy was built through decades of drilling, discovery, and investment. We intend to continue that work and keep building on what generations of miners started. That is what makes Levack so compelling.

Our team is wearing a custom-designed shirt featuring a braided circle and a mine at its centre. Together, these elements reflect the connections between people, communities, the land, and the work we do every day.

They serve as a reminder that responsible mining is about more than extracting resources. It's about building relationships, acting with respect, and considering the impact of our actions on future generations.

Reconciliation is an ongoing journey, and we remain committed to learning, understanding, and taking meaningful action.

We had a great time at the Onaping Falls Tri-Sport Tournament this past weekend.

Team Magna Mining entered teams in both the Men's Open and Women's Open divisions, and we're proud of how everyone competed throughout the weekend.

A special congratulations to our Women's Open team for winning their division!
