Today we celebrate International Women in Engineering Day!

Women have made tremendous changes in both STEM and Engineering despite the systemic gender barriers they face. International Women in Engineering Day highlights both the past and future Women in these fields and encourages young women to pursue Engineering careers despite being a heavily male dominated field.

🚨We’re hiring the EDI Circle for 2026🚨

Want to be involved in conversations around EDI, accessibility, LGBTQ2S+ matters, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) matters, and mental health and wellness?

The goal of the EDI Circle is to explore areas for improvement, listen and respond to student concerns, advocate for their respective area of EDI within EngSoc and the student body, and share educational resources with students.

If you’re passionate about equity and inclusion within engineering and want to help make engineering more accessible, we’d love to have you on our team!
