Urban Roots brings over 30 years of experience building and renovating homes, and was founded on a no pressure, client-first philosophy. They bring a design-build approach that supports projects from concept through completion.

The finishing touches are underway on this Pender Island build, and we couldn't be prouder of how it's come together.

With our Co-Founder Grant based on the island pretty much full-time at this point, every project here feels less like a job and more like an addition to the community. This full custom home build project epitomizes that feeling. Seeing it look like this now after it being an empty lot mere months ago brings a special feeling that never gets old.

With our Co-Founder Grant effectively a full-time Penderite at this point, overseeing all of the projects on the island, saying Pender Island holds a special place in our hearts would be an understatement. Officially joining the Chamber has been a long time coming. and we couldn't be more excited.

Through all of our work on Pender, we've had the privilege of becoming the island's most experienced builders. Staying true to the schedule and loving the momentum—our project is progressing beautifully with all mechanical rough-ins, insulation, roofing and siding now complete, and we’ve officially moved into the drywall stage. Watching everything come together behind the walls makes this milestone especially exciting, and we can’t wait to share what’s next as the vision continues to take shape.
