Fiberglass Tapes can be used in high temperature applications to 1000 F (540 C). We manufacture textiles in a variety of sizes and densities and can apply a custom coating such as silicone, graphite, vermiculite and/or added PSA depending on the requirements of your application.

Vermiculite coated fiberglass tape increases the temperature resistance over that of regular non-coated fiberglass. Resistant to most chemicals, for temperatures to 1500 F (816 C)/ Strong and flexible.

Graphite coating provides more abrasion resistance. Black color renders a more integrated blended appearance for the unit. Graphite coating is permanent at high temperatures.

Specialty Gaskets Inc. manufactures tadpole tapes in house, allowing full control over materials, construction, and performance. Designed with single or double bulb configurations and optional fl**ges, tadpole tape gaskets provide a reliable seal in applications where flat gaskets cannot compress enough. Common uses include ovens, furnaces, kilns, and access doors.

Our tadpole tape gaskets are used across OEM, HVAC, and MRO or industrial markets. Each gasket can be customized with fiberglass, silica, or ceramic cloth covers and fiberglass, silica, ceramic, or stainless steel mesh cores to meet specific temperature and performance requirements.

We also offer custom textile manufacturing and sewing, with coatings such as vermiculite, graphite, silicone, and added PSA. Vermiculite coatings increase temperature resistance up to 1500 F or 816 C, while graphite coatings improve abrasion resistance and provide a clean, permanent black finish at high temperatures.
