Throwback Thursday!

Known for their research and product development, Leeswood Construction built this lovely facility for ROSEN Group - Global, located at 8825 Shepard Road SE in Calgary!

The demolition of the existing office and warehouse turned into a retrofit of the existing structure and an addition of a 4-storey office and wash bay.

The 258,225 Sq. Ft. building features:
- 146,250 Sq. Ft. – Retrofit Warehouse
- 105,225 Sq. Ft. – 4-Storey Office Tower
- 6,750 Sq. Ft. – Wash Bay

Leeswood is excited to announce another partnership with IKEA, with the Grand Opening of the new IKEA Kelowna Plan and order point in British Columbia, supporting IKEA’s continued growth!

Located at 1500 Banks Road, Unit 103, this 14,000 Sq. Ft. tenant improvement facility will offer customers one-on-one planning services with IKEA experts to design and purchase home furnishing solutions for any room in the home, such as kitchen renovations or bedroom storage systems. Customers can collect orders from the Pick-up location as well as shop a selection of IKEA products for immediate purchase and takeaway.

The space offers a wide range of display areas including:
- 12 Kitchen Inspirations
- 9 Bedroom Inspirations
- 4 Bathroom Inspirations
- 2 Living Room Inspirations

This is Leeswood’s second IKEA Plan and order point project in British Columbia after the successful completion of the Abbotsford location. We would like to thank our project team, partners & clients on delivering this wonderful project!

Continuing our great working relationship with IKEA, we were pleased to attend the Grand Opening of the newly remodeled Kitchen Department at IKEA Richmond!

The 10,000 Sq. Ft. area is a space designed to inspire, support, and elevate the kitchen planning experience for customers. This includes twelve new and inspiring kitchen room settings, display areas and planning areas to work with IKEA coworkers in planning kitchen remodels.

A big shout out to our project team, partners, and clients for their collaboration, expertise & commitment to bringing this transformation to life.

We thank IKEA for their shared vision, and we look forward to what’s ahead!

Leeswood Construction is proud to celebrate the grand opening of LiUNA! Local 837’s Training Centre in Cambridge!

This 36,450 Sq. St facility features:
- 12,615 Sq. Ft. Renovated state-of-the-art classrooms, cafeteria, and offices
- 23,790 Sq. Ft. Multi-use training warehouse
- Interactive Machine Simulator Room
- Fall-Arrest Safety Training Platform and more

Supported by the Ontario Government’s $8.8 million investment, this new facility will increase the training capacity, equipping members with the skills needed to succeed in the trades, all while creating opportunities for thousands of Ontario workers.

This is the future to help build our province!
